50 Years of Folk Art at Vesterheim

WMQFA Collection Highlight Hexagonal Quilts

February 2 - April 30

(Cedarburg, WI) -- Utilizing pieces from our own collection, WMQFA is going to exhibit things with a design utilizing Hexagons. In the United States hexagon quilts became very popular during The Great Depression. We will look at how this happened, where the hexagon pattern came from, and maybe even have some modern hexagon inspired artwork to look at.
