Our native bees and honey bees are in trouble. This exhibition challenges artists and viewers to learn about and take action to protect our pollinators. Artists will explore bee habitat, favorite plants, and the tiny flying beasts in all media.
Fiber and mixed media artist Gina Studelska, who is from Grafton, WI constructed the above piece for the exhibit. It is a mixed media/ textile collage with machine and slow stitching entitled, Bee Balm.
Garden Party Opening Celebration Friday, June 23 from 5 – 8 pm
The Two Fish Gallery is nestled in a mission style bungalow painted in glowing colors and surrounded by gardens. The main floor of the house contains a large Main Gallery with a wide range of fine craft, fine art, and fair trade works. The East Gallery hosts special exhibitions and leads visitors out into the sculpture garden. The Two Fish School, specializing in high fire stoneware, is located behind the gallery in the Carriage House. Hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and by appointment hours February through May. Tuesday through Sunday hours June through August and in December.
