Our community gathering spot features local artists, quality yarns & supplies. We offer many opportunities to learn fiber arts each week with free sessions, classes, events, group stitch sessions, resident artists in action, and assistance from friendly and knowledgeable staff. With our many combined years of experience in knitting, crocheting, felting, needle felting, nalbinding, spinning and other artistic areas we strive to teach, encourage and inspire you, not for just today but for life.
Ye Olde Schoolhouse is a Better Homes and Gardens Top 10 Quilt Shop for 2010. Housed in a 1887 historic former schoolhouse in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Ye Olde Schoolhouse is brimming with reproduction prints and old-world charm. The shop displays many bed sized quilts, has classes, groups who meet there and plenty of charm. As Jeanie says, “a good quilt shop is like a library. It’s inspiring and makes you want absorb all the knowledge in it.”
Debra Grall and partner Jeanne Eberlein-Burmeister opened Yellow Feather Gallery and invite all to come to experience our fine art selection. We have a selection of purses, scarves, beading and baskets created by our local artists. Debra Grall will be offering classes in beading: 1. decorating a gourd with beads and 2. learning how to capachon around a focal piece.
