The Pink Llama Gallery began as a concept on May 31, 2012. Having time, a little money and the opportunity, the soon-to-be Head Llama decided it was time for a career change. After thoughtful consideration, a great deal of prayer and a lot of hard work, the gallery opened its doors on August 25, just three short months later.
There was so much help from family and friends as we got the gallery up and running. The amount of love and support that those folks gave us was incredible and we are forever in their debt. You may see some of the supporting cast around the gallery even to this day. They help out occasionally, shop here often, but mostly raid the Head Llama’s chocolate stash!
What was created was an eclectic, colorful, whimsical and, well…fun place to shop. That means, not only will you see traditional landscapes and a still life or two, but also some wonderfully painted skateboards, abstracts, creative uses of clay, exquisitely hand-woven baskets, beautiful hand-dyed scarves and incredible jewelry. We like to think we have something for everyone.
Now, for the second time, The Pink Llama Gallery has been rated one of the Top 5 Art Galleries in the Milwaukee area.
Based on more than 66,000 votes from over 30,000 voters, The Pink Llama Gallery is one of the top five art galleries in the Milwaukee-Area!
