‘Tis the season for bunnies. Paulette Wentzlaff, wool dyer and rug hooker, found this Beatrix Potter style pattern in an old magazine. She used the hand torn technique to make the wool strips for hooking. They are a little wider and the edges are not scissor sharp. The rug is very heavy because the fabric is very dense.Paulette is from Osceola, Wisconsin and dyes wool in the warm weather outside. She has wool at several area shops as well as a wool studio in her home. River Rock Wool Paulette’s work, along with several friends have been featured in the Fiber Art Almanac.
