Biographical Info

signWhen not off exploring, I live in Cedarburg, WI and work from my studio in charming, historic downtown Cedarburg. I have been fortunate enough to live in Asia and in Germany. The designs I have developed have been influenced by those locations, their fabrics and art. My inspirations have come from my travels but also from fellow Fabric Sculptors. Phoebe Greathouse, and from Akira Blount. I have always had the calling to make dolls and fabric sculptures, it began when my children were young and I made their dolls, and hasn’t stopped since. Through trial and error, I designed the unique, one of a kind fabric sculptures that I lovingly call Gentlewomen. I design all my patterns. I frequently do custom creations using the customers own fabric or quite often incorporate special objects they have. The Gentlewomen and Ladies are statement pieces that must complement or enhance their surroundings. Customers have sent me pictures of their homes and the location they are thinking of putting them, and we work from there.

So, how do I get my name on the list?
