I began working with leather 40 years ago, at The Leather Shop on Brady Street in Milwaukee. After the shop closed I set out to work on my own. I started in the dining room, outgrew that and went to the basement. I soon outgrew that and opened a studio in Milwaukee’s Walkers Point area. Another move, and I’m in Grafton now.
